Yes. In the Injections tab, tap any injection entry to open the edit sheet. You can change the date, dose, medication, site, or notes. To delete, swipe left on the entry.
PenPal tracks where you've injected and recommends the next site based on a rotation pattern. This helps avoid injecting in the same area repeatedly. You can configure your preferred sites in Settings.
The residual level chart uses published pharmacokinetic data (half-life values) for your medication to estimate how much is still active in your body. Levels are estimated using first-order elimination kinetics: amount × 0.5^(elapsed hours ÷ half-life hours). This is an approximation only — individual metabolism may vary — and should not be used to make medical decisions.
No. PenPal is a tracking tool, not a dosage calculator. The dose options shown in the app are the FDA-approved dose progression for each medication, provided for reference only. All dosing decisions must be made by your prescribing healthcare provider.
PenPal offers a free tier with up to 4 injections (accounts that started before September 2026 keep their original 12). After that, you can upgrade to PenPal Premium (monthly or annual). Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage subscriptions in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions on your device.
Open PenPal, go to the upgrade screen, and tap "Restore Purchases." Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID and will be restored automatically.
Go to your device's Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions, find PenPal, and tap Cancel. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.
